| Overdrive in Second Gear | Author: Young, B. | Covers: Have you ever considered being able to engage overdrive in 2nd gear on the Austin-Healey four-speed transmission? The switch on the fascia enables the overdrive electrical operation only in 3rd and 4th gear. However, it is possible to jump across this switch and operate the overdrive solenoid in the lower gears, however, there is a great risk of damaging the overdrive unit if the overdrive is engaged in reverse. | Marque |
